What a way it was to kickstart the Toronto Tech Week on Monday!

It was a real pleasure to be a part of this year’s Global Startups Annual Conference, and for JDL Immigration to have the opportunity to support this 2025 iteration as an event sponsor – truly an inspiring celebration of the Canadian start-up ecosystem!

As JDL Immigration prides itself in contributing to build such a diverse and inclusive entrepreneurial landscape, by working hand-in-hand with prominent industry actors such as Global Startups and accompanying innovative immigrant founders through their immigration journey, it only felt natural to preface and welcome on stage Upasana Sharma who provided insights on the future of inclusive capital.

Motivating and captivating presentations took place throughout the day, culminating with an extraordinary keynote interview; Anne Gaviola only had thoughtful questions to unlock valuable and candid nuggets of knowledge from Kim Furlong.

Congratulations once again to Pocket Clinic for winning this year’s pitch competition, despite facing fierce competitors!

Last but not least, a special congrats/thanks to Miryam Lazarte, Carla Ramos, Juan Pablo Carstens, Marcelle Soldá, Attilio Augieri, Mohammed Sorathia, Meg Welter and Deborah Oamen for putting up together such a fantastic event and for the hard work behind the scenes all day long!
